Pickles Barn is an amazing place! It’s really comfy, has everything you might need, is spacious (especially if you have kids or pets!) and is in a great location. We were so happy with our 4 nights here. We were able to visit the sights of the North Lakes but also the Coast really easily plus Keswick is just on the doorstep if you need a town. The hosts are fantastic and made us feel really welcome. The barn is tastefully done, with lots of modern touches. We loved the spacious living and being able to have space for the kids to play (ages 6 and 2), and having a dishwasher and washing machine was also really helpful after busy (muddy) days outside! Would definitely recommend.

A lovely cosy barn conversion. It was homely and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We did a lot of walks from the door step. There is no shop in Ireby but we had brought everything we need so it did not effect us. It's a lovely quiet village. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in the lakes. Lovely and clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this lovely cottage in the Lake District for my girlfriends birthday and had such a wonderful time. The place was incredibly cosy, spotles, and had a real homely feel perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook a few nice meals in, and the heating kept us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. Having off-road parking was a big plus, and our host was so friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. The only downside was the clasic British weather but even that couldnt spoil our time here! Overall, a perfect little spot for a peaceful break. Highly recommend.
