Utilise the open-plan living space by rustling up tasty meals in the well-equipped kitchen before taking a seat to enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table before retiring to the corner sofa to relax and watch a film or two on the Smart TV. As the evening grows darker, retreat to the well-presented double bedroom, a tranquil sanctuary where you can unwind after a long day of exploring. Due to the property's superb positioning, be sure to stock up on supplies at the nearby Keswick Mini Market, or take a short walk to the nearby pub The Chief Justice of the Common Pleas where you can grab a pint before dining at either the Star of Siam or Merienda if you fancy taking a break from cooking one evening. Be sure to stop off at the Castlerigg Stone circle on your journey to the village of Threlkeld, where the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Path End awaits those feeling energetic, while the Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum welcomes individuals seeking a more relaxed day out. A car or bus ride will bring you to the market town of Cockermouth, home to the National Trust landmark location of Wordsworth House and Garden, as well as the tranquil Memorial Gardens, an idyllic setting for a romantic afternoon stroll. Ullswater is slightly further afield, but worth stopping at as it offers visitors the chance to take in the natural wonders of Aira Force Waterfall and the eponymous Ullswater Lake. All of this and more can be enjoyed by booking The Honey Loft.

It exceeded expectations in every way. Much care has been taken to make it a very homely place to stay. Its central location is ideal near the bus terminus, supermarket/shops, and the Convention Centre we were attending. Rugby Club parking was easy to use and not too far to walk. We used the local bus service to explore the area. Thank you.

The most comfortable double bed. The situation was just right for us, it was a little bit frustrating to not have a parking space close, but as we hardly moved the car it ended up not being problem, only unpacking and packing the car. The shower dripped continually and the shower head bracket failed to hold the shower head by the end of the week, but this is fixable and was not a huge problem. It would have been good to have a large bowl in the kitchen for salad, and cheese grater. Over all a lovely place to stay.

The apartment was just like the pictures and it had everything you need for a week's vacation. Unfortunately the apartment was not cleaned very well. Thank you for the uncomplicated, easy communication.
