Make yourself feel right at home in the warm and welcoming open-plan living space, where you can spend many of your evenings entertaining friends and family as you indulge in a fantastic feast at the dining table, lovingly prepared in the quaint yet well-equipped kitchen. Snuggle close together on the stylish grey sofas and watch as flames flicker within the electric fire and enjoy all of your favourite shows on the TV. Escape the excitement as you soak in the spacious tub that decorated the bathroom, or delight in a long rinse under the overhead shower. At the end of the evening, whisk yourself away to one of the two attractive double bedrooms, one of which can be found hosting a light and airy en-suite shower room, or retreat to the peaceful twin bedroom, perfect for those travelling with children. Start your mornings with a refreshing cup of coffee out on the decking, before pulling on your walking boots and heading to the heart of Keswick for a tour of the Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place and the Keswick Museum. Indulge in a hearty breakfast at one of the many local cafés, before embarking on an action-packed day with the Keswick Adventure Centre, whether it be canoeing or Abseiling. Take a stroll along Derwentwater before catching a boat to the National Trust owned Derwent Island House, or admiring the spectacular views from Friars Crag. Climb the to peaks of Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell Pike, or cycle through the beautiful green scenery of Whinlatter Forest Park ahead of a fun-filled afternoon at Go Ape Whinlatter. Visit the grand Cumbria manor of Mirehouse & Gardens and spot exotic creatures at the Lake District Wildlife Park, before heading into the neighbouring town of Ambleside for dinner in one of the finest Michelin Star restaurants in the area, The Old Stamp House. Stop by Aira Force Waterfall and Threlkeld Quarry and Mining museum, or head to Bowness-on-Windermere for a trip to The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, a favourite amongst those travelling with children. Keswick is a fabulous town set at the heart of the Lake District National Park. Filled with bustling pubs and bars, charming cafés and restaurants, and a selection of stores, visitors will find all their self-catering needs covered. Bassenthwaite and Threlkeld sit right on your doorstep, whilst Ambleside, Bowness-on-Windermere and Cockermouth are slightly further afield.

Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this lodge, the nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Keswick.

    Beautiful setting and within easy walking reach of Keswick and road network. There was only 2 of us staying in a 3 bedroom property because we needed a walk in shower which was perfectly adequate. If there was 6 staying, there would be a problem with storage as the wardrobes were used for storage by owners.
