We stayed for Christmas week and had a wonderful time. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and some biscuits waiting for us. There was even a lit Christmas tree which was such a lovely touch and much appreciated. The cottage has absolutely everything you need. It is immaculately clean and decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard. The power shower is amazing! It also has the added bonus of parking right outside - which is very convenient and is only a five minute walk from the centre of Keswick. This is the second time we have stayed and it won't be our last. Thanks very much xx

we found riverside cottage a very comfortable stay easy walking distance into Keswick for places to eat and the shops very friendly owners without doubt we would recommended staying here, also plenty of walks on the doorstep

We stayed at Riverside Cottage for 4 nights in June, and didn't read any reviews on the property before hand. Very glad we didn't because this cottage was faultless! Yes it's small, and quite obviously a garage conversion but it's only for 2 people...and who goes to the lakes to stay indoors 24/7?!?! The presentation is immaculate, everything is finished off perfectly to make you feel at home. It has everything you could ever need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality instruments and is absolutely immaculate...something I've never found in a cottage holiday before. The location of the cottage is ideal, 5 minutes walk from the town centre but In a quiet enough area to relax. If you turn left when you leave the cottage and walk for approx 3 minutes you reach the best pub on the planet...the pheasant inn. Their homemade food is divine...we kept going back for more! It's reasonably priced and faultless. A proper English country pub with a warm welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook riverside cottage.
