Bassenthwaite Lakeside Lodges is part of our Wanderwood Lodge Holidays Collection, nestling on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake at the foot of dramatic Skiddaw Mountain. Boasting breathtaking views and bursting with opportunities for outdoor adventure, this idyllic setting is perfect for getting back to nature in one of the Lake District’s most unspoilt beauty spots.

A haven of peace and tranquillity holding the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation, these superb lodges boast wonderful walks and cycling right from the doorstep. Stroll the woods, fish the stunning lake (license required Mar 1-Nov 15 ’ 19) or enjoy some private sailing (Mar 31-Oct 31) before shedding your shoes and soaking up the luxury of your own hot tub.

Conquer fells, enjoy the neighbouring 25-acre Wildlife Park or simply explore the lake’s rich heritage of birdlife, fish, shoreside flora and fauna. Keswick’s abundant attractions offer something to everyone just 6 miles away.
