For supplies, pop into Keswick, 19 miles away, where you will find a host of independent shops and eateries, a vintage cinema and the beautiful Derwentwater. Or stay local and grab a bite to eat at the popular village pub, which offers unpretentious home cooked meals and spectacular mountain views from the beer garden. Brimming with character, this historic property is a retreat from the wilds outside, offering cosy yet spacious accommodation with breathtaking views through almost every window.
