A beautiful Grade II* listed black and white timbered cottage dating back to the 15th century. Perfectly nestled in the stunning historic village of Weobley; a hidden gem on Herefordshire's famous Black and White Trail on the Welsh Marches. Close to the borders of Wales it is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, including Offa’s Dyke and the Golden Valley.

This luxurious two bedroom self-catering accommodation is one of the oldest in the village, providing the perfect holiday base for an active or relaxing break with friends or a romantic retreat. The very spacious master bedroom boasts an array of rare wall and ceiling beams and is adorned with gorgeous furnishings and sumptuous linen. The bathroom has an impressive slipper bath with hand held shower, ideal for a relaxing soak after a day’s exploring. The charming living room with dining area has been thoughtfully furnished and the kitchen has every appliance the discerning holidaymaker could wish for.

Voted in the top ten places to live in England and winner of the National Village of the Year, this delightful village boasts many timber framed houses, some dating back to the 1400s. Excellent facilities include independent shops, churches, coffee shops, traditional pubs and the renowned Jules restaurant as well as many scenic walks from the village, this is the perfect holiday destination and excellent location for walking and biking trails.

Within easy reach is Hay-on-Wye famous for its legendary bookshops and literary festivals and ideal for visits to The Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains. Medieval Ludlow overlooking the River Teme in Shropshire is a gastronomic epicentre hosting many festivals, of particular note is the internationally renowned yearly food festival held in the castle grounds. Historic Hereford Cathedral houses a chained library, the Mappa Mundi and many rare books. Leominster is full of antique and curio shops. Rare and ancient books abound, this pretty town is a writer’s heaven. There is also a cheese factory, vineyard and many cider farms in the surrounding areas for guests to tour and sample the delights of the wonderful local produce. This really is a wonderful village in a beautiful region of Britain.

When you think of Hereford, certain things instantly spring to mind. Those white-faced, red cattle, renowned for producing melt-in-the-mouth beef. Apple orchards, cider and sensational Wye salmon. Little wonder it's such an important market centre and also a fantastic place for a gourmet break!
