A Welsh longhouse situated in a rural location with views onto the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains National Park and Hay Bluff. The property is set right on the edge of the National Trust moorland, the Begwyns, and you will be spoilt for choice with walks and cycle routes from the door. The popular town of Hay on Wye is 3.5 miles away, where there is plenty to explore. The villages of Clyro and Painscastle with pubs and shops are 2 miles from here. Further afield are the market towns of Builth Wells, 15 miles, and Brecon, 20 miles. The house is elegantly decorated throughout, with local artwork, sumptuous furnishings and antique furniture.

The cottage boasts a playroom for younger children as well as reading room with some comfortable seating for delving into a good book. There is plenty of room to cook for all guests in the kitchen, which has an oil fired Rayburn and a table with seating. A utility room off the kitchen has a washing machine and clothes airer for you to utilise. The living room has sofas set around a wood burner along with a Smart TV, DVD player and Bose speaker for all to enjoy of an evening. Beyond, there s a conservatory filled with games and puzzles for children with glorious views across the Welsh rolling hillside.

There is a shower room situated downstairs. Upstairs are four bedrooms including a king size master with en suite. Tucked down a private drive, you will find plenty of parking outside the property. The property has a fabulous enclosed lawned garden with plenty of space to play games. A patio terrace area has garden furniture for enjoying al fresco dining. The house also has a wildflower meadow, which blooms in spring and summer attracting butterflies and bees.
