Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with a few noting it as spotless. However, there were isolated comments about cleanliness issues such as dirty mirrors and kitchenware, which slightly affected the score.

The location is highly praised for its peace, quiet, and beautiful views. The rural setting and proximity to local attractions are appreciated, although the single-track access road was a concern for some.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. There were minor comments about a double bed being too small for taller guests, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

The property is celebrated for its comprehensive facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a hot tub. However, some guests reported maintenance issues such as a non-working hot tub and plumbing problems, which impacts the score.

The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the provision of items like bathrobes, crocs for the hot tub, and feeding kits for the peacock. While gifts are not guaranteed, the consistent mention of these thoughtful touches contributes to a high score.
