Grayes Manor is set on a hillside position in a secluded rural location overlooking open countryside and backing onto an ancient wood.It is also only 7 miles from the famous Puzzlewood , the setting of a lot of the latest Star Wars film. The house dates back to the early 16th century and is full of character and charm with features including a large inglenook fireplace, quirky arched doorways, turreted stone spiral staircase, exposed timbers and even a rare Grade II Listed garden privy. This beautiful house has space for everyone with a large vaulted family kitchen, separate dining room, sitting room with log burner, four bedrooms and extensive private gardens.

The truly amazing thing about this home is the setting. The Forest of Dean offers plenty for the adventurous from mountain biking, zip wires, kayaking, horse riding etc. There is an abundance of cycle tracks and valley walks where you may even encounter the native wild boar. Alternatively; just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility in this rural retreat.

Ground Floor

Sitting Room with two large sofas, a large fireplace with log burner (1x basket of logs included), Coffee table, TV with freeview. Doors leading to stairs to 1st floor and kitchen.

Dining Room, 3 stairs to enter from kitchen. A large table and seating for 10, chairs, side units.

Kitchen, large double height ceiling with beams. Range cooker, four ring electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, table and four chairs, dresser.  Stable door leading to the garden and Stairs leading to the first floor.

Scullery with a washing machine, Belfast sink and door leading to the garden and WC.

First Floor

Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2) King size bed, wardrobe, small door leading to kitchen stairs and main door leading to first floor landing.

Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2) Super King bed that can also be two singles. Bed side cabinets and en-suite shower room.

En-suite Shower Room with  shower, wash basin and WC.

Bedroom 3 (sleeps 2) Double bed  

Bathroom with shower, bath, wash basin and WC.

Outside

Walled formal parterre garden to the front and a very large rear lawned garden with pond.
