Inside you will find a fully-functioning kitchen tucked away in the corner of the sociable space, sure to entice any budding chef to whip up a range of delectable dishes to be enjoyed at the nearby dining table. As day turns to night, retreat indoors where you can settle down to watch tv in the cosy living area or freshen up in the family bathroom, where you can choose between ending the day in style with an indulgent soak or a quick shower before bed. Across the way you'll find two well-presented bedrooms, with one being a king-size with a flexible zip/link feature and the other with two single beds adequate for adults and children. Take advantage of your close proximity to the coast and head to the glorious sands of Walton beach, beautifully-adorned with vibrant huts. Here you can paddle the shores, explore The Crag Path, built to protect the cliffs from erosion or you can go fossil hunting on the beach or just simply bask in the sunshine with a good book, maybe even consider renting a beach hut for your stay. Wander north along the coast and lose yourself amongst the peaceful greenery of The Naze Nature Reserve, making sure to keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife that hide within the hawthorns, a birdwatchers paradise. Here you can grab a spot of lunch and watch the large vessels sail to and from the Port of Harwich. Keep the little ones entertained with a trip to Walton Pier, famed as the third longest of its kind in the UK, where you can test your strike at the bowling alley, try your luck at the arcade, or cast your line with a spot of sea fishing. For more coastal adventures, travel north to the town of Harwich, home to a host of history waiting to be discovered at the Redoubt Fort, Low Lighthouse and the Radar Tower, or for a unique experience, visit the mural painted near the pier to see for yourself whether it's an original Banksy or not. Further inland rests the town of Colchester full of things to see and do. You can tour the Grade I listed National Trust site of Bourne Mill, discover the regions fascinating heritage with a tour of the Natural History Museum, or catch a live performance at Colchester Arts Centre. For a real special treat visit Colchester Zoo the home of some beautiful and rare species of the animal kingdom. Residents include the Komodo dragon, white rhinos, giraffes, zebras and many more. They even offer experience days for adults and children. Why not visit Titchmarsh Marina on the Walton Backwaters which is an area of outstanding natural beauty where you can take a boat trip to watch the seals resting on the mud banks. Historic Walton-on-the Naze, a seaside village on the coast of Essex, offers a variety of activities, including birdwatching and fishing.
