A lovely, well equipped, clean lodge. Spacious and well appointed and private. Pool facilities also very pleasant and hot tub large and hot! Saw few staff members but those we did see were helpful and friendly. Would definitely visit again!

We booked a weekend away at Knights Lodges as a relaxing girls break and catch up and it was exactly that! The lodge itself was beautiful, really spacious and clean and a great outdoor hot tub which was covered with a wooden pergola to allow us to use it in most weather conditions! The area was very open and it was quite windy during our stay but this didn't stop us from enjoying the hot tub! The area was lovely, really open with great views and we didn't feel overlooked from the other lodges which is also nice. There's a lovely leisure complex on site and we booked a swim session in the pool, this was a really great area and a lovely sauna too. Theres also yoga/pilates classes and massage therapies on the site if you opt to use them.Our overall rating was a 4* due to some niggly maintenance issue in the lodge which could do with upgrading. Our fridge was missing a door drawer which meant we had nowhere to stand bottles up - other than the salad drawer section (which was also missing the drawer!), this was just a nuisance as it meant we had less fridge space overall. The bedrooms were all lovely but the mattress in the master bedroom in out lodge (Poppy lodge) was SO uncomfortable - it was like sleeping on a lumpy cardboard box! A few little upgrades and this place really would be 5*!These issues won't stop us from booking again and we are already planning to return next year as the pro's outweigh the con's but I hope for the sake of my very sore neck that the mattresses might be replaced before then!

Great relaxing weekend away. Excellent facilities in the lodge with the hot tub being a highlight!! Nice and private with plenty of space between the lodges on site.
