There s ice cream parlour just 3 miles away for days when the sun is blazing and if you want a special meal back at the cottage, there s a well known farm shop just 1.5 miles away. Visit National Trust Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest and Rufford Abbey, which are all within 15 miles. Southwell is 6 miles away with its famous minster along with independent shops and cafes. Newark on Trent is 7 miles away where you can find lots to do from picnics on the castle grounds to taking a boat trip on the river to visiting to the civil war museum. Step into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner and put your feet up on the comfortable sofa which doubles up as a double sofa bed, perfect for little ones.
