We had a truly relaxing weekend in Herdwick, which was just what we needed. The accommodation is well equipped & lots of outdoor space - wood burner & bbq if required. The hot tub is amazing - just the right temperature. Everywhere is spotlessly clean & the bed incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend a visit to the farm shop a short distance away, for a full English breakfast - one of the best we've had...ever! Reasonably priced & lots of other homemade delights too 😊We will certainly consider a return visit - thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Just back from a long weekend in The Herdwick. We had the most relaxing weekend and cannot recommend this gorgeous place enough. The hut is so well equipped, has the most comfortable bed and is so cosy. As well as being aesthetically pleasing it was so clean and has lots of lovely little touches. Fluffy towels provided and robes for the hot tub. We made full use of the outside area; bbq, covered table & chairs, fire (logs etc provide and lasted us the entire weekend) hammock & the hot tub, which was a firm favourite. The location is perfect and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to switch off and reset this is most definitely the place to go, we have already recommended to friends and are looking at dates to go back ourselves & I already can’t wait.
