The cottage is well presented and equipped. Clearly, much thought has gone into making it as comfortable as possibleThe location is lovely and rural, quite isolated, but that didn’t bother us. Even the noise of the A1 wasn’t intrusive. The only things that could, maybe, be improved are the hardness of the towels provided and the poor TV signal. We could watch the main channels without too much of an issue, but when we tried to log in using our accounts for say U and Netflix, we ran into difficulties. However, we read a lot more than we might have in consequence! There were several places within easy reach to visit. We particularly liked Idle Valley Nature Reserve and Clumber Park.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Cowslip. The cottage is beautiful - even better than the photos in our opinion. The hot tub was excellent, very clean, large and very easy to get in and out of. The team at Cowslip were also very responsive and accommodating. We'd love to come back and stay for longer.
