Situated to the rear of the discreet owner’s barn conversion, with lovely views across open fields from the kitchen and living room, this detached bungalow is perfect for a break away from it all, and on a clear night it is perfectly located for star gazing. You don’t have to walk very far to find the village pub, which is conveniently located next door and serves a variety of drinks. The first of many local public footpaths can be found directly opposite Acres View entrance gates and can be used as a base for daily country walks short or long without the use of a vehicle, exploring the wildlife in its natural habitat, the local countryside. Fishermen can enjoy whiling away the hours at the River Trent, located close by. A day out in the vibrant city of Nottingham is just 9 miles away by car or bus, or jump on the train at Lowdham, 1 mile away, to go straight into the centre. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Very comfortable and well presented accommodation. Wonderful welcome basket.A struggle to connect to Internet as instructions weren't too clear but managed to get on the system after a day!More detailed instructions on using the oven would be useful.The visiting cat was very friendly and even tried to come home with us!

We stayed for a long weekend - it is a lovely quiet place to stay and turn off - looking out to fields. The bungalow is clean and tidy. Hopefully going back next December to visit nottingham and do christmas shopping again.Thanks ☺️

Just a short return stay for a few days fishing on the nearby River Trent. Acres View is clean , comfortable and well equipped although we only had time to eat, sleep and get back to the fishing! And the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.
