Situated to the rear of the discreet owner’s barn conversion, with lovely views across open fields from the kitchen and living room, this detached bungalow is perfect for a break away from it all, and on a clear night it is perfectly located for star gazing. You don’t have to walk very far to find the village pub, which is conveniently located next door and serves a variety of drinks. The first of many local public footpaths can be found directly opposite Acres View entrance gates and can be used as a base for daily country walks short or long without the use of a vehicle, exploring the wildlife in its natural habitat, the local countryside. Fishermen can enjoy whiling away the hours at the River Trent, located close by. A day out in the vibrant city of Nottingham is just 9 miles away by car or bus, or jump on the train at Lowdham, 1 mile away, to go straight into the centre. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Very nice house with lots of space, good parking and very clean. Thank you for the complimentary welcome pack! The team really appreciated it! The only thing that would have been helpful would be some cleaning products left like surface cleaner that could have helped us tidy as we went along! Good walking distance from the train station and next door to the pub! PERFECT! We will definitely use the property again when back in the area! Thank you so much!

Don't be fooled by the lack of reviews on this site - the guest book is stuffed with 10/10 reviews, and for very good reason. Very clean, so beautifully quiet, and well equipped. Good pubs relatively nearby (the one next door is adults only, though), 10-minute walk from the Trent for fishing, and central Nottingham is around 25 minutes drive away.
