Little Owl is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its peaceful location, cleanliness, and high-quality facilities. Guests appreciate the spacious and tastefully decorated barn conversion, complete with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches like welcome hampers. The hosts, Nigel and Kirsty, are commended for their hospitality. While one review mentioned a cleanliness issue with a sofa, this seems an isolated incident in an otherwise exemplary set of reviews.
The property is consistently described as spotless and immaculately clean, with one isolated complaint about food debris under a sofa cushion. Given the overwhelming number of positive comments, the cleanliness is rated highly.
The location is frequently mentioned as peaceful, with beautiful views and a quiet environment ideal for relaxation. It is also noted as a good base for exploring nearby towns and attractions.
Guests find the property very comfortable, with cosy bedding, a warm atmosphere, and spacious rooms. The presence of underfloor heating and a wood burner adds to the comfort level.
The facilities are generally praised, including well-equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms. However, there are minor suggestions for additional kitchen utensils and a comment on well-used furniture, leading to a slightly lower score.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is highlighted by mentions of welcome hampers and their willingness to assist guests. It is noted that such gifts enhance the experience, though they may vary and are not guaranteed.
