We had a fabulous week in the lodge. There is a great expanse of land/forest opposite the lodge to walk around. Within driving distance there is the reservoir and Calke abbey, great places to visit. We self catered all week , the kitchen facilities are excellent. We enjoyed days out to the National Arboretum, Nottingham, Chatsworth and Bakewell. Friends visited and all in all a great week.
