Vine Cottage is praised for its cosy charm, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the welcome pack and the property's proximity to scenic walks. However, some noted challenges with steep stairs and parking. The cottage's location by the canal is ideal for morning and evening strolls, and it's well-situated for exploring nearby towns.
Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and tidy, with one exception reporting it as dirty. The majority opinion suggests a high level of cleanliness.
The location is generally seen as convenient and picturesque, near the canal for walks. However, concerns about steep access and parking, as well as noise from traffic for one guest, slightly affect the score.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a well-received welcome for pets. The steep stairs within the property, however, posed a challenge for some guests, impacting the comfort level.
Facilities are highly regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. One guest mentioned the lack of a potato masher, but overall, the facilities are considered excellent.
Guests frequently mention and appreciate the welcome pack, which includes tea, coffee, biscuits, and dog treats. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Vine Cottage was in a convenient location for the places we wanted to visit. It was clean and well equipped. plenty of extras in the kitchen. Salt, pepper, oil, tea sugar, and coffee. We managed, but be aware there are lots of uneven steps on the approach to the house. Lots of steps of differing heights within the cottage. If this is not an issue, I would highly recommend Vine Cottage.

The cottage had everything wr needed. It was very clean and comfy. Our dog settled well - helped by the owners who kindly left him some welcome treats. The location was perfect for us - right by the canal for morning and evening walks. The only downside was parking - sometimes we couldn't get a space. Luckily there was a small car park by the canal and I was able to park there. The canal was less than a minute walk so I was fine with thar. As the road is very steep this may be an issue for some. The stairs in tne cottage were also very steep. On the whole a lovely place to stay.
