We had a lovely stay at Vine Cottage. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped and a great base from which to explore this part of Derbyshire. Jane and Tim have thought it through well, with nice personalised touches like the coffee and the framed OS map on the wall. The latter is a great quick reference for the various walks immediately available from the doorstep. The garden is a nice suntrap for the afternoon and early evening, which we and the local cats enjoyed! The train was also really handy, with Matlock/Matlock Bath only a short trip away, plus the the extraordinary legacy of the textiles industry in the Derwent Valley, rightly a UNESCO world heritage site.We highly recommend Vine Cottage and would love to return.
