About this Bed and Breakfast
The Homesford Cottage is situated in the heart of Derbyshire, within the Derwent Valley, a World Heritage Site. It rests on the A6 and is just a 2-minute walk away from Comford Canal. There is free Wi-Fi and a large car park opposite, on the other side of the A6.
Guest accommodation is self-contained with its own private entrance. They have been converted from 19th Century stables, and come with warm solid wood furniture and a contemporary en suite bathroom. A 32-inch flat-screen TV and homemade biscuits are also featured.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room each morning and is locally sourced whenever possible. Guests can choose from a full English breakfast, as well as lighter options such as cereals and toast with fruit preserves. Fruit juice and hot drinks are also available.
Whatsandwell Rail Station is just a mile from the Cottage, which is surrounded by woodland on all sides. The south easterly corner of the Peak District National Park is within 4 miles of the property and Junction 28 of the M1 Motorway is just 12 miles away.
