Another set of stairs leads up to a double bedroom and a mezzanine with a chest of draws and desk. To the outside of the cottage is a delightful courtyard where you can enjoy the warmer weather with a refreshing drink. Wirksworth is full of character with many buildings of architectural interest. Visitors can enjoy the countryside, including nearby Carsington Water, Black Rocks and the High Peak. Beautiful Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are also within easy reach. A wonderful cottage which can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Wirksworth is a market town situated just a few miles from Matlock, on the edge of The Peak District. Wirksworth is full of character with many buildings of architectural interest. Visitors will enjoy the surrounding countryside including nearby Carsington Water, Black Rocks and the High Peak Trail. Rock climbing and cycling can be enjoyed here at every level, and there is walking all around.
