The cottage is very clean and comfortable with lovely comfy beds. It is in a beautiful spot, right by the canal and river. I will definately be stopping there again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at nightingale cottage, the cottage was lovely and warm on arrival and through out the whole of our stay. The cottage is small and cosy, but was perfect for the 4 of us plus our cockapoo. Seeing the horses through the window when it was daylight was a lovely addition. Loved the shower, lots of hot water and my girls loved having a bath. (We only have a walkin shower at home)The beds where very comfortable and the old features of the cottage is an added bonus. The only thing I would say is if you do stay at the cottage please take a extra battery powered light for the stairs as going from the bedroom down to the toilet was tricky in the dark. We didn't put the hallway lights on as it would disturb the dog and girls. Beautiful cottage and scenery, unfortunately because it was December when we visited it was very wet, we didnt get to explore the walks. we would recommend this cottage.
