A really beautiful home from home with the most amazing views. We enjoyed a great week with family, friends and Matilda our dog. We got off to an excellent start, the house is beautifully presented and our hosts had left us a really thoughtful welcome package. The garden is fabulous for entertaining and we look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can take full advantage of the opportunities for alfresco dining. The kitchen is well equipped and it was great to have a decent supermarket within easy walking distance. Our days were spent exploring Bolsover and the local area (Creswell Crags and Wellbeck Estate both worth a visit). The Byron Tap is worth a mention - good beer, very welcoming. We also enjoyed an afternoon pint in The Sanctuary (dog friendly). With a generously sized dining room and comfortable living rooms we had plenty of space to hang out in the evenings. The bedrooms are all beautiful so no squabbling over who got which room. Everyone had high praise for the showers. This is a fantastic holiday home for a larger family or a group of friends. We will return.
