Guests enjoy the peaceful countryside views, spacious rooms, and proximity to local attractions. The presence of farm animals adds charm, and the hosts are noted for their responsiveness and discretion. Some minor issues with Wi-Fi and shower pressure are mentioned, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and providing all necessary amenities. However, some guests mention a slow Wi-Fi connection and low shower pressure, indicating room for improvement in these areas.

An enjoyable and relaxing week away with views from the front over Chesterfield and it's crooked spire. The cottage itself is comfortable and well equipped with a far bigger main bedroom and front room than I'd expected.I didn't venture too far during my visit although did walk to North Wingfield a couple of times as well as to the local high street - about 30 minutes - where there are some local mini markets, chemists and a Post Office.Whilst this is a working farm there was very little noise at all and have certainly experienced much more elsewhere. The comments say that the Wi-Fi signal is weak - a bit slow perhaps but all devices worked and I was able to log into my Netflix/streaming accounts and watch without experiencing bufferingI hadn't spotted this cottage when searching previously and only wish I had. Somewhere definitely to return to.

Great location, only 5 miles off the M1, and central for visiting not only the peak district but also South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. In January our weather was wet but the cottage was warm and well equipped. Only drawback was that the mattress was tired in the double bedroom.
