Millstream Cottage is a charming detached cottage in the pretty village of Sutton Poyntz.  It is set in beautiful Dorset countryside just a few minutes’ drive from both the bustling Georgian seaside resort town of Weymouth and the dramatic Jurassic World Heritage Coast.

With countless beaches, wonderful walking and hiking, fossil-hunting, diving, sea fishing, rock-pooling, swimming, sailing and windsurfing all very close by, Millstream Cottage is the ideal base for a relaxing family holiday.

Internally the cottage is furnished to a high standard throughout. Externally, the garden is perfect for al fresco dining.  The cottage sits directly alongside the much-photographed millstream in the heart of Sutton Poyntz, which lies at the foot of chalk hills, overlooked by the famous Osmington White Horse and within walking distance of Overcombe Beach. The village has a busy pub with good food.  Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby.

Weymouth – which boasts some of the finest sailing waters in Europe – is only a short drive away and has lots to offer, from family fun to sophisticated evenings out. The town centre has plenty of well-known high street shops, a cinema and an abundance of cafes, restaurants and bars, while the vibrant, historic harbour is a great place for eating, drinking and people-watching.  The award-winning sea front, with its calm swimming waters, huge sandy beach and panoramic views of Portland and the Jurassic Coast, is perfect for young families.

    Furnished with a single bed with an additonal bed, (large enough for an adult but best suited for a child) which can be pulled out from underneath the main bed providing an extra sleeping option if required.

    Situated on the first floor above the garage with views over stream and nearby countryside.
    Access is external either via the garage store or from the garden at the rear of the property.

    Access to cloakroom on the ground floor of the annexe featuring a wc and wash basin.
