The duplex was very clean and comfortable, very modern, the under floor heating was lovely, parking was a little difficult, the owners left us two bottles of wine which were very appreciated. We went as a couple with another couple and it was big enough for the four of us. Would love to stay again in the future.

The duplex is of high standard with good layout and plenty of space. Cleanliness was of a good standard. The furniture in the lounge is not what is shown on the website, the sofa and armchairs are now leather which even though comfortable were not ideal when weather is very warm. The area was good, with easy walking to many other villages and sites. However we did struggle to find local pubs serving good or any food. We had to drive out of the area every evening to eat which was a pain because of the limited parking. Reference the parking we struggled every day to find somewhere to park and we were not in high season, this seems to be a problem with most residents. The owners were friendly and informative. The island is very scenic and interesting with lots to do. We enjoyed many walks including around the whole island with lots of stunning views of Chesil Beach and the harbour from the west cliffs. However, we would not stay again because of the parking issues. As suggested in other reviews, there is yard at the rear that could fit at least 1 car but it is surrounded by a stone wall that may be protected.

This apartment was very very clean and had everything for our needs and more. We have never stayed in a place so clean and comfortable just like home, would go back tomorrow." J. Estcourt. Essex. August 2012
