From the moment you enter the house you feel welcome, with its open plan living kitchen dining room that expands into the garden through bi-fold doors you can all share the space with ease. Sit at the breakfast bar with a glass of wine, prepare fabulous meals in the well stocked kitchen or kick back and unwind in front of the wood burner. Take advantage from the wonderful views from the garden.

Silver Lakes offers outdoor activities to attract all the family, with free access to bikes, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards during your stay and the many miles of wildlife trails to be walked see just how much beautiful wildlife you can spot, the effervescent dragon flies by the fishing lake are mesmerising. With all these activities on site you won’t have to go face to enjoy a fantastic day out. When you feel worn out after your full day of adventures why not book in for a treatment at the lovely on site Hurricane Spa or unwind by the Spa pool. If you want to venture off site you will find yourself on the doorstep of Dorset’s World Heritage Coastline with many of Dorset’s stunning sights, including Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, just a 20 minute drive away. Enid Blyton’s favourite Corfe Castle, 30 minutes-drive. Monkey World, The Sea life, and the Tank Museum all offer interesting days out. The County town of Dorchester is just 6 miles away. Silver Lakes is the ideal location for the family to come and create memories or a group of adventurous friends to come and unwind, Silver Lakes offers it all.

Warmwell derives it’s name from a well of tepid water, and has a varied village history including, having an RAF airfield used by the RAF in the second world War. If you want to continue on a theme of military history then why not explore the Tank Museum at Bovington just 8 miles away. Monkey World rescue is also an interesting day out and just around the corner from the Tank Museum. Should you be craving the sight and sounds of the sea then you are also ideally placed, with Lulworth Cove and Durdle just 8 miles away to the East and Weymouth and it’s golden sands and shallow water just 8 miles to the west. You will find many local café’s and restaurants in both these locations where you can sample local fish and award-winning produce. Be sure to enjoy an ice cream on the seafront.
