Tucked away along the beautiful River Lim walkway in Lyme Regis, is the adorable Brook Cottage.
Nestled in the very heart of town, the semi-detached stylish escape offers up a generous slice of peace and tranquillity, with only the sounds of the babbling river and birdsong to lull you to sleep on your perfect seaside holiday.
The boutique, pet-friendly cottage has three bedrooms and can sleep up to five guests. It is swathed in natural light during summer as well as being an ideal spot to cosy up in the winter months. This makes it a superb choice for families and couples alike.
The cottage has a pretty and secluded garden, which is very popular with a variety of birdlife. It is the perfect spot to take your meals or simply relax with your morning coffee, or a glass of wine and some nibbles.
Constructed in the 1930s, the quaint cottage comes with a lot of history and has been very lovingly renovated. It's a unique mix of old and new, with a lot of thought and attention put into the finer details. All this creates a modern, clean look with a rustic twist that features recycled, reused and sustainable items wherever possible giving the property a wonderfully individual charm.
Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent unesco Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby.
Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location.
There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. Of course, there are also loads of smaller events happening as well!

We had a lovely home from home stay in this well equipped, dog friendly, clean cottage. Local shops, pubs and dog walks on the doorstep (woods, meadows and the cove. Our Great dane jeeves loved the clean shallow Brook running alongside the edge of the garden. Gorgeous long sandy dog friendly beaches a short drive away Woolacombe and Sauton and picturesque coves. We all enjoyed relaxing in the sun at the end of the afternoon on the decking of the cottage. Perfect holiday perfect accommodation and perfect location will definitely rebook and recommend to friends and family

A very comfortable place to stay. We would happily return to this property. Our dog felt comfortable too. Lovely to have an owner who supplied throws for the sofa which we kept on throughout our stay. We also used the stair gate to keep our dog downstairs. We didn't feel that he was not welcome. Very clean, comfortable property.
