The lodge is furnished to the highest possible standard with the comfort of guests having been given the highest priority. The open plan living, kitchen and dining area is beautifully light and airy and is the perfect space to get away from it all and relax, unwind, and take in the beautiful views. Both bedrooms are furnished to the highest specifications. Rest your head on the super king size bed after a busy day exploring the local area. Free from road noise, ambient lighting, and set in a secluded location, you’re sure to get a restful night’s sleep at Paws Lodge.
The lodge has its own decked terrace area complete with a table and chairs for outdoors dining, a private hot tub, and a bistro table and chairs for that early morning coffee. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind while taking in the spectacular countryside views. Paws Lodge is also an extremely dog friendly lodge, with feeding bowls, doggy waste bags, and a fully fenced enclosed garden.
Saxon Maybank is set in a prime position for exploring all that Dorset has to offer. With Sherborne and Yeovil both within easy reach, you will find an array of shops and restaurants just a short drive away.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Saxon Maybank as we needed to spend some quiet time relaxing after a stressful time. The lodge was beautiful and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Soaking in the hot tub was divine and because of the layout of the lodges, we were hardly aware of anyone else being there. We arrived in the evening when it was dark and it was quite difficult to find out which lodge was ours without a torch, but when we did it exceeded our expectations. Surrounded by peacefully countryside and twittering birds it was a great location to relax and de stress. Spent a day in Sherborne which had so many interesting little shops and cafés. We will definitely book again as we want to go to the aircraft museum and jump back in that hot tub.

Our recent stay at Saxon Maybank was lovely. The location was beautiful and peaceful with lovely areas to walk. Local pub and shop within walking distance (15mins) which was great for us. The area is ideal for a chilled out relaxing get away as there's not a lot around. The lodge itself was great. Fully equipped with everything we needed and finished to a fabulous standard. The hot tub was a great extra to relax in at the end of the day. We brought our dog with us and he loved the open space and quiet. We drove to the town Sherborne (10mins) which was a lovely picturesque town with lovely boutique shops. Nice and welcoming independent shops and friendly people. Overall a lovely holiday to relax and chill out in a beautiful place.
