A delightful fishermans cottage just a stones throw from the Quay in the picturesque village of Appledore. All village amenities within a few minutes walk including waterside pubs, welcoming eateries and many individual shops selling local crafts.

Dove Cottage is a delightful character property tucked away amid the colourful cottages that line the cobbled streets of the historic fishing village of Appledore.  This cosy cottage has been furnished in an attractive style and is well equipped throughout with an open plan living area and shower room on the ground floor leading out into a small fully enclosed patio. Two bedrooms are on the first floor(steep stairs).The village of Appledore has great charm with interesting art galleries, restaurants, chandlers, Post Office and several character pubs serving a good selection of food. Fresh fish may be purchased on the quay, and fishing and boat trips are easily arranged, in season. The three mile surf-washed sandy beach of Westward Ho! and the market town amenities of Bideford are each within a ten minute drive, with the historic fishing villages around Clovelly and miles of magnificent National Trust coast paths a short drive beyond. On the opposite side of the estuary the beach resort of Instow can be reached in the season by a small walk on ferry.
