Hound Tor is a semi-detached lodge at luxury hotel Bovey Castle, on the edge of Dartmoor and near the little town of Moretonhampstead. Set within the grounds, it rambles over three levels. Enter via the hall into the open plan living space with door to balcony, seating area with gas fire in big fireplace, dining area and light kitchen area. Head downstairs to two en suite bedrooms, which you can choose to be double or twin, both looking over the lake from decking. On the top floor is the third bedroom, the master with peace and quiet on its own level. With the wonderful hotel facilities on the doorstep, Hound Tor is a marvellous place for chilling out or enjoying activities.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.
