Set in the peaceful village of Torcross, At The Beach offers a relaxing holiday destination while still having plenty in the local area to keep you entertained.
The apartments are situated at the end of a 3 mile shingle where you will also find a cosy pub and cafes. The freshwater Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve is also close by and is perfect for spotting wildlife and birdwatching.
Apartment 10 is a spacious first floor apartment with views of the beach and Slapton Ley nature reserve from the living room bay window. The property benefits from allocated parking for one car.
Torcross was made famous as the training ground for US Army forces preparing for the D-Day invasion in World War II. An American Sherman tank which was lost at sea in 1944 and recovered in 1984, and memorials, stand beside the visitor parking lot as a reminder of the lives that were lost.
Dartmouth is a short drive away, as is Salcombe, and both offer a choice of fine restaurants, cafes, bars, unique shops and attractions.

...Parking next door in separate car park. Side sea views. Comfy and cosy. Best to use the back entrance. Good range of equipment. A little noise from the upstairs apartment early morning. ...give us an easy holiday with quality accommodation and great location....Bullseye! Space, light, good fixtures and fittings, comfortable and clean, support from property manager when necessary, secure parking and what a location! Book it and enjoy. The Guest book just goes on and on saying "we will come back, "this is our second visit" and we wrote the same. Oh and then there's the Jacuzzi bath! The finishing touch...! We wanted to take the dog where she could go for a run on the beach at dawn then we could breakfast outside in a quality café, then laze on the beach with a quick swim before we had a lunch time pint in a great pub and after a snooze in the afternoon take the dog for a walk in a lovely wooded area by the water and finish the day with fish and chips on the beach looking at the stars...we did all this all in Torcross.. whats there to think about..?.
