The owners have thought about everything that is in the lodge for families ie: games, videos, information leaflets on where to visit etc . All the rooms are very comfortable & the open plan of the kitchen /lounge is light & airy. The kennel & dog run is ideal for people taking pets. The owner was very nice & helpful, greeted us when we arrived, advised us if we needed anything at all just to give them a call, but then left us till the end of the holiday to enjoy our privacy, we really appreciated this. Would not hesitate at all recommending S2935& look forward to going again soon. Mr & Mrs t taylor"

"Our 3rd visit to S2935and yet again it was amazing. The owners bend over backwards to be accommodating without intrusion. The lodge is spacious and equipped with everything you will need. The scenery from the windows is breathtaking. There is plenty to do in and around South Molton. We are all set to book visit number 4"

"We've stayed at a least 12 properties and this one is far and above the best. This was our third visit and were already looking to book it again. There is not one negative thing to say, there is so much room and all the facilities you could ask for .Karen and Bill are two of the hardest working people we've ever met ,but still find the time to visit you throughout your visit to make sure everything is alright .They are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet and we would recommend this property to anyone."
    Mrs Stanley ‐ 1 Mar 2018
"We had a very warm welcome upon arrival which included a delicious cream tea. The huge and very luxurious lodge exceeded our expectations. The working farm was an added bonus with cows, sheep and the friendliest border collie you will ever meet. Just a fifteen minute drive from junction 27 of the M5 with South moulton being just a five minute drive away with all the essentials at your disposal, a petrol station, sainsburys post office, fish and chip shop and a chinese take-away. Perfectly positioned to visit the wonderful north devon coast with Westwood ho!, instow, saunton, croyde bay, woolacombe, ilfracombe and combe martin all being within a thirty minute drive of elworthy lodge. ."

    Mrs Moore ‐ 1 Feb 2018
"The Lodge was really warm and welcoming on arrival on a freezing February evening. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms lovely. The large lounge/kitchen is spacious with magnificent views of Devon countryside with the added bonus of watching lambs playing from the huge french windows. The neat garden is fenced so we had no worries regarding our dogs and the farm animals, also the idea of the kennel and enclosed run for muddy paws to dry off in is genius. The owners were friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive."

"Fantastic lodge, great location, real comfortable home from home. All the family enjoyed what the lodge had to offer. We will be back."
    - Mrs Gaylor, October 2016 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"Fantastic! Couldn't fault the lodge or surroundings in any way. The lodge was beautifully clean and well equipped with views to die for! We were very lucky with the weather too. The farm dog, Drift was a regular visitor to the garden to play with our dog! Our only suggestion would be to perhaps have a more extensive information pack at the lodge with distances to the nearest pubs and facilities etc. Also, the grass could have done with a cut! There does seem to be a problem with flies, but I guess that is the joy of being in the countryside! But these are just little niggles really. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a relaxing break with easy access to lots of lovely places. Well done - keep up the good work!!!"
    - Mrs Hodgson, September 2016 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"Lovely lodge with special views. Very well equipped & everything is in good condition Owners very helpful & a lovely pair of friendly dogs to give you a great welcome. Would definitely use again."

"Great property, clean and spacious. All amenities you would require for a holiday base. Friendly owners on farm and very friendly dog. Ideal for days out in locations around the area."
    - SJSMGEORGE15, June 2016 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"Fantastic!!! This was our first stay at S2935but we will most definitely be returning. The lodge is beautiful and well equipped, plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 dogs. Perfect safe enclosed garden for the dogs to run around in without us having to watch them all the time. The farm dogs were lovely and friendly always popping to the gate to say hello and have a fuss. Had some lovely days out, everything is easily accessible within a 30-45 minute drive from the lodge. Just not enough time in a week to see and do everything. We will definitely be back to see more. Couldn't ask for a better base for our holiday."
    - Vicky T, April 2016 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
".we have just got back from yet another fantastic stay at Elworthy. We feel at home here and it is a perfect base for travelling and visiting nearby beaches and places. Elworthy is light, modern and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. We just love being here ."

"This is our second stay at S2935and I'm sure it won't be our last. Both times we have felt really comfortable and at home, the lodge is fully equipped with very comfortable beds. A lovely place to return to after a busy day out. Our 10 year olds love being able to go off and see the animals on the farm and watch the farmers getting on with their jobs. Whilst Wi-Fi available for the older ones! Good central place to stay for visiting local attractions and beaches. Looking forward to seeing Karen and bill again very soon"
    - Tazzyfatbum, February 2016 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"The 2nd visit my husband, myself and two dogs have made to S2935and again we were not disappointed. This Lodge ticks every single box. Spacious, clean, warm, well equipped, dog friendly, and a little place of Heaven. Cannot fault this place at all and look forward to coming back next October."
    - Danielle Y, September 2015 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"The Lodge itself is very spacious, well equipped and beautifully laid out. The location, just outside the town of Bishop's Nympton, is a lovely area with beautiful scenery. The view from the back garden is outstanding. Myself, my husband, our 2 small dogs and my parents all stayed in the Lodge very comfortably. Plenty of room for us all and plenty of wardrobe space, kitchen equipment and towels. The dogs loved having such a spacious garden to run around in and we loved the fact it was secure and we could keep an eye on them through the panoramic windows/doors without having to be outside with them the whole time. The owners were very welcoming and were available by phone at any time should we have needed them. The farm dogs were very friendly and enjoyed a good play/fuss every now and then. The Cream Tea and pint of milk that was left in the fridge to greet us upon our arrival was a very welcomed extra. Would absolutely recommend this Lodge and the area, just be prepared for tight twisty country lanes and lots of large spiders!!!"
    - Neil S, May 2015 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"Perfect....no other way to describe it. We stayed at the lodge for Easter, Two teenagers, two 9yr old's and one dog and (4 surrogate dogs from the farm, i would have stolen Bert if i had the chance!!). The lodge was more that we expected, very spacious, very well equipped and very clean. The kids (especially 9yr old's) loved the farm, all the animals, tractor rides and covered in every kind of (muck) you can imagine. Karen and Bill are lovely, very helpful without being intrusive. Truth be known i think two of ours would have moved in if they could. A car is a must in order to get anywhere, but this does not detract from the lodge or surroundings,(WiFi for the teens saved all a little sanity, they even managed fresh air and walking!! OMG). Devon at it's best"
    - Vicky T, May 2015 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"We have just returned from a break at Elworthy Lodge. There were 3 of us and our 3 dogs. The lodge is situated across and actual farm yard and has its own secured garden and driveway. Karen soon put mesh across the bottom to stop our tiny dog escaping. The owners have 4 friendly dogs. The lodge is very clean and bright with all mod cons. There are plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The beds are comfy and there is a tv on the wall in the master bedroom. There are 2 bathrooms and use of a secure dog run with dry kennel. On arrival there was a lovely cream tea in the fridge along with a pint of milk. we will definitely be going there again and have already recommended the lodge to family. Just a note the view of the countryside out of the front of the lodge is fantastic."
    - Tazzyfatbum, February 2015 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"The most well thought out accommodation for those with dogs. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. Beautiful beaches, dog walks and scenery all around. The lodge is immaculate and well equipped for all needs. We actually rebooked it whilst we were there. I cannot rate this any higher"
    - Tracey T, January 2015 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"Lovely lodge, clean, good size, private. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. On a working farm so great to see the animals. You definitely need a car to get around unless you really enjoy walking."
    - mandyshard, December 2014 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"There is always the question, will the property be as good as the pictures? I can confirm it is better than the pictures. The set up of the property was excellent for the two of us and two dogs. There is more than enough room for 6 people, but for ourselves and the dogs, it was ideal. The property has an enclosed garden, a kennel area where the dogs can dry out and chill in their kennel if you want a day out. The attention to detail is excellent, no fault could be found. We were so impressed, we have booked again for next year and hopefully enjoy the patio space which looks out to an amazing view. Karen and Bill make excellent hosts and are available to assist or answer any questions you may have, and the complimentary scones on arrival were much appreciated. Good central spot to a beautiful location. I have already suggested this to friends and family."
    - Harry M, November 2014 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"A big thank you to Karen and Bill for a really relaxing and comfortable week. This Lodge is one of the best we have stayed in over many years, it is immaculate, well equipped and unbelievably spacious. Although only myself and wife stayed it would not be overcrowded with 6 adults. After a warm welcome on the Saturday they remained unintrusive but available should we have required anything. No detail has been overlooked in the lodge and it was a pleasure to stay here and visit areas of north Devon we have previously overlooked. I highly recommend this property for both couples and families[ Kids would love the farm animals and also the adventure of staying on a working farm]. By the way Karen , thanks for the Devon Cream Tea waiting for us in the fridge, a very nice touch."
    - Petebarrow, June 2014 ‐ 20 Jul 2017
"The Lodge is a recent build so everything is new and works! The Lodge is situated on a working farm in a quite peaceful location, but is still within easy reach of the road network. We found the location ideal for visiting North Devon and Exmoor. The Lodge is great for dog owners having an enclosed garden and even a kennel run. The owners are very friendly and made sure we were settled in, they have the softest dog we have ever met!"

"A stunning location, views to die for and a peaceful retreat. Even though it is on a working farm there were no issues with this and all made us welcome. It was easy travel to a host of seaside towns, and even if the weather is bad, just sit and take in that huge skyscape from the lounge - wonderful. We will be back. Thank You."
    Mrs Samantha George, Redditch, Worcestershire
"A fantastic lodge in a stunning location. The lodge had plenty of space for all of us and the dogs loved the secure garden. The lodge had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. The farm has spectacular views and it was lovely to see newborn calves in the fields. Days out and about in north Devon were all within a 30 minute drive from the lodge, whether you wanted to go to Exmoor National Park or to the coastal beaches, everything was easily accessible from the location. Couldn't fault S2935in any way and we would definitely go back and recommend to our family and friends."

Very friendly owners who are happy to help with anything & provided a cream tea for us. A great spot for seeing all North Devon has to offer."
    Mr David Snelling, Waterlooville, Hampshire
"A superb property in an excellent location on the owners farm , who were themselves, excellent hosts."
Mrs Belinda Kakoz, Manchester, Greater Manchester
"The holiday was very relaxing with wonderful views. The cottage was clean with all mod cons. We couldn't have asked for more, we will be going back so that says it all I think."
    Mr Paul Newman, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
"A lovely quiet spot with brilliant views."
