The property smelled of damp, the wifi didn't work, electricity was available only via a coin fed meter, the facilities were very basic. We did not occupy the property and found ourselves looking for alternative accommodation at 7pm on a Sunday evening with 2 small dogs, a 7 month old child and our daughter and son in law. We have been holidaying in Lynton and Lynmouth for decades but never again will we go anywhere near Clooneavin.

Even in the middle of August, the flat is cold. The smell of damp hits you as you walk through the apartment door. The flat itself is nice with decent sized rooms for a holiday and beautiful views from the lounge. However, the coldness and dampness stopped us being able to dry anything that needed washing and towels stayed wet from day one. It would also be preferable to have duvets on all the beds not just for the bunk beds. If you're on holiday, I don't know anyone who wants to make up 2 beds with sheets and blankets everyday. Lastly, the owners didn't know how many people were staying there so we had to find them, collect and them make up 3 more beds the evening of our arrival. A bit of a communication failure there!
