Perfectly positioned for strolling into the town centre, it is the ideal base for a family holiday or two couples looking to get away, offering two allocated parking spaces slightly down the hill, a rarity for properties of this size in Ilfracombe. Step into a roomy hallway that leads into entering the bright and stylish living room. Californian shutters and crisp white walls reflecting the East- West sunlight that pours through the floor to ceiling windows and patio doors. Step out onto the balcony and drink in the superb views as you sip a replenishing drink and enjoy the magnificent sunsets drifting across the sky. Move through to the dining area from the living room and tuck into a delicious meal cooked up in the kitchen, catching up on the day you've just had and making plans for further adventures during your stay. From the kitchen are patio doors to another small balcony, which offers views towards Hillsborough, the coastal path and the bustling harbour. Follow the stairs down to the lower ground floor bedrooms and find a twin with zip/link beds and patio doors out to an enclosed courtyard garden, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee with a good book. There is also a lovely king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and a family bathroom, where you can indulge a hot soak in the deep bathtub, on return from a long walk on the coastal path. You are very close to all the town has to offer, including shops, restaurants, Damien Hirst's statue Verity and the Ilfracombe Observatory. Just a short walk from the little beach in the harbour and the historic Tunnels Beaches. For surfers and those who are seeking the large expanses of sands that this coast is famous for, Woolacombe and Croyde are both within easy reach. With Exmoor National park also on the doorstep, what more could you ask for?

The seaside town of Ilfracombe lies on a beautiful stretch of North Devon coastline, with five beaches, much of it owned by the National Trust. With its heritage harbour and close proximity to Exmoor National Park, this is the ideal base for a holiday. Take a wildlife cruise, a fishing trip or a boat trip to Lundy Island, enjoy an abundance of walking trails and find spectacular scenery at every turn.

    The location is great and close to all amenities. The bonus has to be the private parking available. Highly recommend

    The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of clothes storage space in the bedrooms. The decor was of showroom standard and the apartment was spotlessly clean, it smelt lovely as we walked through the door which was immediately re-assuring. The view over the cove was lovely, perfect for enjoying your morning brew. The property is on a bit of a slope which isn’t ideal if you struggle with mobility but it didn’t bother us at all. Parking is easy and directly over the road. I would highly recommend this accommodation if you’re looking to visit Ilfracombe.

    Although we were initially looking for a cottage type accommodation, the location of 10CV was ideal for the town of Ilfracombe and as a base for the surrounding area - the parking situation was particularly good. This was our second holiday with Sykes for me (age 85) and my grandson (age 19). I look forward to more such holidays.
