With over 200 acres of farmlands to explore there is plenty to see and do when staying at The Pine Cabin. Set on an organic dairy farm with sheep, cows and arable crops, guests are welcome to roam the grounds and watch the day to day farming activities at this friendly spot. Within half a mile of both the pretty village of Georgeham and the surfing vibe at Croyde, there are some delightful local inns within easy walking distance. The golden sandy beaches of Putsborough and Croyde Bay are just a couple of miles away and there are plenty of places to hire wetsuits and boards nearby. The South West Coastal Path is easily accessible with stunning cliff walks and panoramic views over the sea. Cyclists will love the 'Tarka Trail' which begins in Braunton, 3 miles distant, and wends its way car-free through the beautiful Devon countryside for over 30 miles (bicycles for hire locally). Exmoor is on the doorstep and there are many opportunities for horse riding, fishing and mountain biking in this beautifully unspoilt National Park. The Pine Cabin is a detached, compact property offering a simple and comfortable holiday base. There is one separate double bedroom which can be converted to twins on request, a shower room and a living/dining/kitchen area. Outside a verandah runs the length of the property and is ideal for storing bicycles and surfboards. An enclosed patio area has a barbecue and garden furniture from where guests can sit back and relax and enjoy the country views.
Accommodation: Open plan living /dining room with freeview TV, DVD and gas fire. Kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge and spin dryer. Bedroom 1 with King (zip 'n' link to twin on request). Shower room with WC and basin. Covered verandah.
Facilities and Services: Linen. Electric heating. No smoking. WiFi. One pet outside of school holidays (friendly farm dogs reside). Highchair available. Tumble dryer by arrangement with owner at cost. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Ample parking in adjacent farmyard. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.

We liked the pine cabin and the surroundings so much that we have booked another week in September. We could not have wished for a better equipped cottage and the local area provided everything we required especially as we have a very energetic labrador dog.
