Front door leading to decking for al fresco dining. Ideal for exploring North Devon.
Site Description
Grattons Cedar Lodges are set within a quiet picturesque hillside garden location on the edge of the village of Berrynarbor. Nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning valley and sea views. There are two pubs and a shop nearby.
Positioned just a mile away from Exmoor National Park and close to some of the best beaches in the country with the south west coastal path nearby, it’s an ideal base from which to explore the scenery of North Devon or just to relax in the peace and tranquillity of the garden setting.
A children’s play area, a field for dog walking and a laundry room are available on site.
For all 2019 bookings the park will no longer be offering towel hire and visitors will need to bring their own.

Barricane lodge was lovely. It is situated at the back of the site next to the woods with the most gorgeous large Elm tree next to it which was a delight. The deck has lovely views of Great and Small Hangman and the field is right next to the lodge which the dog enjoyed. The wifi was great in the lodge. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The only thing that would have improved it would be a few more coat hangers than the three that were there and a larger wardrobe.

The lodge was nice, however we were expecting a ‘covid clean’ as we weren’t allowed to check in until 5pm for this reason. So it was a bit disappointing to find dirty floors, dog hair and cobwebs everywhere when we arrived!

We really enjoyed our holiday it was lovely & peaceful. My only comments are that the sofa needs some extra padding as it has sagged.Also I took my recycling home with me as the bins on site were full.
