The road up to Hilltop is uneven and may not be suitable for low vehicles, please bear this in mind when travelling.

Lovely cottage and hot tub. Is situated at the top of a steep hill so please be mindful of that. Hilltops is adjoined to owners house so not totally private when in hot tub but other than that we had a lovely stay. Surrounded by lovely countryside and can do the canal walk. Lots of things to do so can recommend. Bathroom in cottage could do with some updating but it had what we needed. All in all it was a peaceful and relaxing stay

While Whipcott Water is in its own private location the accommodation was in need of updating in several areas. 1 The general condition of the property was good although the carpet had been trimmed untidily all around the outside of the living room. 2 The bathroom was adequate but really needs to be completely replaced. 3 The owners property is attached to Hilltop. the accommodation we were staying in and they had to walk through the garden of Hilltop past the Hot tub to gain access to their house which meant there was a lack of privacy although this wasn't an issue while we were there.We met the owner Sue on the first day and she was very easy to talk to and basically left us to enjoy our week.In relation to your question regarding value for money, at the moment we would have to say that all uk holidays are overpriced due to the ongoing pandemic and the difficulties facing the owners.
