There's also a regular calendar of festivals, including a Christmas Dickensian Fair and the traditional flag festival and a lantern procession when the whole town turns out for a colourful evening of fun and music. The town also has a selection of restaurants to enjoy, and the superb Coronation Hall, which holds an interesting variety of plays, concerts and events.
