The owners have cleverly converted the second floor into a 'chill out' area furnished with soft bean bags with stunning views across the rolling landscape whilst outside is a delightful patio area which is a perfect place to enjoy a romantic breakfast or dinner. The Lake District National Park is only a 15 minute drive away with Ullswater within easy reach, where you can hire rowing boats or take a cruise on the Ullswater Steamer for those seeking a more tranquil day. The charming market town of Appleby is also close by, with many excellent tea rooms and shops and each June the town comes to life with the famous Appleby Horse Fair. This lovely cottage in Reagill is a perfect romantic getaway at any time of the year.

The village of Maulds Meaburn is in the Lyvennet valley and is a quiet village near the Eden Valley about six miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland. Appleby is a major stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway and is home to the famous Horse Fair.
