About this property

Located in what must be one of the most picturesque and tranquil locations, Brockhole Farm has it all, views across the surrounding mountains and the River Lune perfect for a refreshing break.

Situated on the banks if the River Lune with views and walking to Tebay fells and Howgills makes this an ideal location for those seeking a refreshing break at any time of the year. Tebay is just off the M6 motorway between Penrith and Kendal, a good base to visit the Dales or Lakes. Brockhole is 2 miles south of Tebay and is approached over a 1-mile single track over fields.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodations. Can't say enough wonderful things about the cottage itself. Great situation for driving to many beautiful locations. Only drawback is the sound of the M5, but we would definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable cottage on the edge of the yorkshire dales & lake district national parks. Comfy beds, lots of hot water, underfloor heating downstairs & plenty of space. Room outside to sit & BBQ if the weatehr is kind. Yes you can see the M6 & the west coast main line but they're hardly disturbing. Walks from the door are great onto the Howgills & Borrowdale & other areas can be accessed within the hour. Good support from the owner. Would not have abny qualms about returning.

We had a lovely stay in Oak Tree Cottage in September, despite the weather! Beautiful surroundings, lovely cottage, clean with everything we needed. Friendly owners, available if we needed anything.
