soooo convenient for town, shops and walks! We enjoyed relaxing in the snug after exploring the local area. We will be booking again in the future.

We had 'family' business to do in York on way up, plus in Darlington (meeting the Mayor), Thirsk, Kendall and Austwick - so Kirkby Stephen was ideally placed - and we like a place of our own! Yours was ideal for the 3 of us. We used the log burner. Plenty of hot water. Beds comfy but main bedroom - would have preferred more supportive mattress. Morrisons food delivery - perfect. We also got some sightseeing in too.

We had everything we needed and what an extra bonus the sauna was! Had some great walks around the beautiful local area and also in the Lake District as so easy to get to. The perfect spot to stay in and Kirby Stephen lovely for interesting shops and good food.
