A fabulous, terraced barn conversion on the owners working farm in the pretty hamlet of Milton, just a short drive from Brampton. Lovingly converted, the interior of The Barn has been well-thought-out to provide maximum comfort for guests. The sitting room has a warming woodburner and sumptuous sofas, the large windows overlook the enclosed garden and French doors lead to the patio area. This is an ideal spot for letting the dogs safely stretch their legs or just relaxing and watching the sun descend behind the Tindle Fells to the West. On frosty evenings what would be better than battening down the hatches, and relaxing in front of the woodburner whilst watching a film on the 50" Smart TV! The adjoining kitchen/diner has a large table, ideal for those family meals or a spot of Monopoly. The Barn is ideal for a large family or couples, with two en-suite bedrooms and a family bathroom for the third bedroom. Perfectly positioned for visiting the Scottish Borders, Northern Lakes and Pennines, this is a wonderful place for a Cumbrian break at any time of year. Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 3738, 3739, 4585, 917515, 922499 and 941220, 949797, together they sleep 30.
Ideally placed for exploring northern Cumbria, the hamlet of Milton is close to all of the region's most popular attractions including Hadrians Wall, the Solway Firth coast and the Lake District National Park. The nearby market town of Brampton dates back to the Roman occupation, and shows evidence of attacks from Scottish border raiders and Jacobite uprisings.

Fire and jacuzzi provided exactly what we needed/ wanted for a relaxing few days away :). Only things missing in the kitchen were chopping boards and perhaps salt & pepper. Also a sweeping brush would have been handy for the mud that came off our boots once dried. The 'only one shower' at a time situation was highlighted and was fine for us but I imagine some people wouldn't like it. Overall a lovely place to stay. Thank you.

. I would have liked a large dustpan and brush or hoover Log burner was brilliant and hot tub plenty big enough for a family I found the owner really friendly and gave some good recommendations or where to visit

We had no complaints at all. Especially loved the hot tub which was clean and had been well maintained.
