We didn't take the dog in the end and I'm glad as it was a very pristine place and we wouldn't have wanted muddy paws everywhere. Great location for walking and sightseeing

We stayed in January to meet up with family nearby, when the temperatures were around freezing, but the heating in this cottage kept us lovely and warm at all times. Probably the best appointed holiday home we've ever stayed in. As mentioned in the description, the stairs are a bit steep and twisty, but there's a sturdy handrail to hold on to as you go up and down so they didn't cause us a problem (we are in our 70s). A few low beams and doorways to watch out for especially if you're a bit on the tall side, but at the end of the day it's an old cottage and very cosy inside. Will definitely book again when we need to be in the area.

So much thought has been put into this cottage you wanted for nothing. Comfortable furnishings and beds a delight and being consistently warm made the cottage feel like home from home.
