Located in one of the most picture perfect villages in the Cotswolds a journey to The Cotswold Chapel begins byexploring the winding roads and glorious countryside, drive over a small bridge over the River Eye and you’ll be greeted by The Chapel as your reward.

Expertly renovated this former Methodist Chapel still retains some of those quirky features such as full length windows that provide not only light but beautiful views, yet it has been brought bang up to date for the modern day. Downstairs a log burner heats the chapel and provides a feature and a compact kitchen completes the

picture. Vibrant colours and handmade furniture also helps the chapel feel contemporary with a purpose crafter corner sofa and handmade stairs that lead to the glass mezzanine level. These lovely wooden steps (not for the failing of foot) take you to where you’ll spend the night, a double bed and wet room make the most of the eave space and in the morning simply open the blinds to watch the river with a cup of coffee in hand.

A walled garden completes the property and a great suntrap. The Cotswold Chapel is a perfect place for just two with walks and bike rides to the right of your front door but most importantly a lovely pub to your left in neighbouring Lower Slaughter, once you’ve finished walking for the day. Pets are welcome on request so you don’t need to leave your four legged friend at home and cultural pursuits are a mere 25 minutes away in Cheltenham if you need to stock up on supplies or simply enjoy the shops, races and many festivals on offer.
