Further afield the historic town of Stratford upon Avon Shakespeare s birthplace and Cheltenham home to the literature and food festival and The Gold Cup. More local attractions include Chastleton House and Gardens, The Cotswold Farm Park, Birdland, Hidcote Manor, Daylesford organic farm shop and Chedworth Roman Villas. Set within the heart of Blockley s Main Street, this bijou cottage has been finished with an eclectic style with a clever mix of vibrant colours and original features. The front door gives access to the kitchen/diner area, a spacious room full of character with flag stone floors and exposed stone. A large picture window with Californian shutters offering views onto the street. The kitchen, finished with bespoke wooden units and marble worktops is well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge. There is a dining/breakfast table and two chairs to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening meal. The cosy lounge is accessed off the kitchen, here you can relax after a day exploring in front of the wood burner. A stone staircase offers access to a double bedroom within the eaves along with an en suite bathroom with free standing claw foot bath where you can relax and soak and a WC. Outside to the rear of the cottage is an enclosed courtyard garden with table and chairs and Webber BBQ for summer dining. There is roadside parking subject to availability. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 bathroom with free standing bath and WC. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). TV in lounge.
