5 Jubilee Court is a newly refurbished and well-appointed first-floor apartment situated in Bibury, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in England. A perfect base for couples seeking to escape to the Cotswolds.
The open-plan living space has everything you will need for a short break; comfortable sofas and a large-screen smart TV, a separate dining area and a modern kitchen with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher among the appliances.
A beautifully decorated bedroom houses a sumptuous king-size bed and ample fitted storage for your personal belongings. The bathroom is a good size and includes a bath with a shower-over.
The accommodation includes an off-road parking space and a small, shared courtyard garden with table and chairs, perfect for a glass of wine on a summer’s evening.
The property can accommodate 2 adults, plus a baby or toddler in a travel cot (provided).
The village of Bibury is famous for the historic Arlington Row, one of the most photographed scenes in the Cotswolds. Watch out for the local Kingfisher as you walk along the river! The local café, The Twig, serves fantastic coffee and cakes, whilst the Swan Hotel does delicious afternoon teas. There are a number of excellent pubs in the area.
Use the maps and walking/cycling routes provided by the owner to explore the local countryside on foot or by bike. Watersport enthusiasts will love the facilities available at the Cotswold Water Park and climbers can make use the extensive facilities at the nearby Far Peak Climbing Centre.
The apartment is a ten-minute drive from the historic market town of Cirencester, with a huge variety of shops, cafés and bars as well as museums and the famous Cirencester Park. Cheltenham, home to the renowned Cheltenham Festival, is only a short drive away, as are the beautiful Cotswolds villages of Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.
However you choose to spend your precious holiday time, return to the comfort of 5 Jubilee Court and recharge for tomorrow's adventure.
Bibury was dubbed "the most beautiful village in England" by William Morris, and it is now known around the world as the village that best exemplifies the English countryside. A magnificent Saxon church stands at its heart. The village is so architecturally significant that the National Trust is actively involved in its preservation. Arlington Row, a row of weavers cottages restored by the Trust in the 1970s, is one of the most photographed scenes in the Cotswolds, with its characteristic roofline and gables. The village includes a few shops, pubs, and tea rooms, but the neighbouring market town of Burford, known as the "Gateway to the Cotswolds," has a broader range of services.
