A wooden clad porch allows you to kick off your boots and hang up your coats before stepping into the cosy sitting room with its beamed ceiling and open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped for making anything from a light supper to a full Sunday roast, there is even a dishwasher so you can make the most of your time away. The master bedroom is situated on the first floor with a stunning exposed stone wall and next door is a tastefully furnished dressing room/study. The shower room features underfloor heating ideal for those cooler mornings. Enjoy al-fresco dining in the sunny courtyard garden at the front of the property with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue.
Blockley is a quintessentially English village with honey coloured stone cottages, set within the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds between Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh (with mainline railway services direct to London Paddington). There are an abundance of walks in and around the village, and within walking distance of 6 Mount Pleasant are two pubs, a community run café and a well-stocked shop.

Had a wonderful 4-night stay at 6 Mount Pleasant in beautiful Blockley and enjoyed every second of it. Cotswolds Hideaways was great to work with, very helpful, as was the cottage owner who was very responsive. It is perfect for a solo traveler like me, very cozy and comfy cottage in a very pretty spot. A very nice welcome basket with yummy goodies was there when I arrived, very appreciated. Pub, village shop and Cafe and village green are super close. Highly recommended!

Superb location tucked away, extremely quiet, great place to escape too. Cottage ever so cute, clean tidy , the stairs bit of a challenge very steep , took couple of days to get used too , very comfortable bed, shower brilliant, heated flooring in bathroom real treat. Brilliant hamper full of goodies. "Got used to the sound of silence". Blockley shop plenty of goods to buy well stoked. Blockley cafe, very busy didn't get chance to eat there, so popular. Lovely walk around village. Village pub also very busy so popular again. Plenty of places to visit within half an hour.

6 Mount Pleasant is a cosy little cottage in the lovely village of Blockley. We enjoyed our December short break in this cottage which is a compact space but beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. It was a warm home during chilly weather. There is no parking outside the cottage which is on a footpath so parking is in the road about a 250m walk away. In better weather there is a pretty outside seating area which I think would be very sunny in summer but in December we couldn't make use of this. It is conveniently located in the centre of the village which has very attractive Cotswold stone buildings, has a very good cafe and pub and lots of local country walks.
