About this property

This heart-warming detached cottage rests near the village of Redruth, a remote retreat tucked away into the countryside, with exceptional views and its own lawned garden. Modernised and filled with character from the outside-in, this will become your own little relaxing break, a chance to truly get away from the hustle and bustle. A charming porch takes you inside, through to the sitting room, complete with cosy seating and a fabulous woodburning stove which is sitting amidst a stone fireplace. Exposed beams overlook the room, and slate flooring paves the way towards the modern kitchen which also features a breakfast table. A shower room completes the ground floor. Open-tread stairs reveal a unique double bedroom, laced in a traditional overtone, with relaxing views and bold stone work. Bedside tables are well-coordinated and an all-round enchanting feel ensures a peaceful night's sleep. Enjoy the grounds outside, perhaps settle down at the picnic table for a delicious breakfast, or take a stroll around the secluded area and its walking trails. The beach at Portreath is a 10-minute drive, or 2.5 miles from Redruth. The entire stunning North Coast is a suburb playground for surfing and water sports, with resorts such as St Ives, Falmouth, the Roseland Peninsula and the whole Lizard Peninsula within easy reach. An original cottage in a historic part of Cornwall.
