With a grandstand harbourside position in the coastal town of Portreath, located midway between St Ives and St Agnes on the north Cornish Coast. A family favoured destination for beach holidays and surfing the Atlantic waves. This waterfront terraced cottage is a few minutes walk from the beach and town's amenities overlooking the harbour. You enter from the waterfront terrace into a spacious open plan living area tastefully presented with wood floors and painted timber beam ceilings. A wood burning stove in the seating adds a cosy atmosphere for cooler evenings. There is a well-equipped, attractive rustic style kitchen with range cooker. The dining area leads into a bright sun room providing an additional area for relaxation. A useful ground floor shower room is perfect for showering following a day on the beach. On the first floor, there are three individual bedrooms and separate family bathroom. Outside to the rear, a private sheltered enclosed courtyard offers a haven to relax and enjoy family barbecues. To the front, a super waterside terrace, where you can enjoy morning coffee or an evening sundowner whilst the boats go in and out of the harbour. From your doorstep there are pubs , restaurants and shops within minutes walk, not to mention the sandy beach that is lifeguarded in the summer. Walk the coastal footpath from here and enjoy the magnificent seascapes or venture inland to Tehidy Country Park with acres of woodlands, lakes and a golf course. Visitor hotspots including St Ives, St Agnes and Padstow are within easy reach. For a super seaside family holiday a stay at Quayside Cottage is really hard to beat.
Portreath is nestled in a stream valley between high cliffs. It has a secluded sandy, safe beach which is popular with families and surfers alike. The village has several shops including beach shops, a take away, several pubs and cafes, plus cliff tops for walking with panoramic seascapes.

Would definitely recommend as pretty cottage inside in beautiful location - only recommendation would be for more wardrobe space/storage. Thankyou for a lovely holiday

We found the sofas very uncomfortable and the tv very slow responding to anything, maybe because the wifi was slow. The kitchen lights are pretty useless as you are always trying to work in your own light unless sitting at the table. We found the linen good and the towels big and fluffy.

As a dog friendly, beach side property, would be useful to have access to a mop etc for cleaning. Only a dustpan & brush, and vacuum cleaner were in the property. Also, wasn't appreciated that the cleaners arrived before checkout time, making us feel pressured to leave quickly.
